3 European towns to visit this spring

Spring is a great time of year to start visiting European towns as the weather is starting to get a bit better. It is even better to visit cities that as it is not too hot or too cold to spend the days exploring the cities (that are usually packed with tourists). I have visited a fair amount of towns in Europe now and have some favourite places to recommend. Here are 3 European towns to visit this spring.

Number 1 on the list is Florence

Florence is a beautiful city with a lot of things to do for a short getaway. You can spend the time exploring the city, looking for little doors where you can get wine and enjoy the sunset. Florence was one of my favourite places because everyone was high in spirit and were welcoming and friendly. Once you have spent your time visiting museums and exploring the streets, you could book a tour to see Tuscany. I booked a wine tour to see Tuscany where I got to taste some delicious wine whilst seeing the beautiful views. This is something I highly recommend doing. If you do not drink, you can always look for tours not involving wine tasting as Tuscany is a must see destination.

Number 2 on the list is Madrid

Madrid is a very lively city that is constantly busy, even in the night. I felt very safe being here and there was a lot to explore and do. There are multiple free-walking tours to help you understand the culture and history of the city. Moreover, if you like history, you can visit the Palace, or if you like art, there are a few different art museums to visit. On top of this, you can watch the sunset, get some tapas and enjoy a Flamenco show.

Number 3 on the list is Cinque Terre

The last place on the list is Cinque Terre. This is a bit different than the first two as there are 5 villages you could potentially visit. Spring is a good time to visit as it won’t be as busy as the summer period and the weather should be good. A couple of the villages have beaches too so bring your swimwear! You can spend a few days visiting each village, try the local food and maybe even find a boat trip.

These are some of my favourite recommendations for you. I would recommend booking in advance if you are looking for a cheaper getaway. Alternatively, you could stay in a town close by to the cities. For more travel tips and trips check out my instagram. https://www.instagram.com/travelarchivez/
